Musician Chris Evans has revealed why he no longer publicly showcases his romantic relationships, saying experience has taught him to keep his love life away from the media spotlight.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV ahead of his December 4 concert at Waterfront Beach, the singer said he believes a man of his age should have a wife but has learned to protect his relationships from unnecessary public attention.
Evans explained that the last time he introduced his partner to the cameras, their relationship ended within six months, leaving him convinced that public exposure can complicate celebrity relationships.
“The last time I showed off my woman to the cameras, we did not last six months before she was taken,” Evans reportedly said.

According to the singer, dating a celebrity can attract attention and opportunities that may change a partner’s lifestyle, sometimes creating challenges for the relationship.
He believes that when a woman dating a famous musician becomes popular through media exposure, she may attract more attention and become increasingly occupied with other opportunities.
Evans, however, did not rule out introducing his current partner to the public in the future, saying he would do so when the time is right.
The singer also addressed his perceived romantic connections with fellow musicians Spice Diana, Kataleya and Kandle, as well as television personality Haffy Powers.
He dismissed the speculation, describing the associations as publicity stunts rather than serious romantic relationships. Evans added that dating another musician could bring unnecessary complications.
“I cannot date a fellow musician because you would end up having problems,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Evans has called on fans to support his December 4 concert, which falls on the same day as legendary singer Dr. Jose Chameleone’s show at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Acknowledging Chameleone’s greater musical stature, Evans expressed hope that fans would make time to support both concerts, giving the two artists an opportunity to entertain their respective audiences.
