Award-winning Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz is set to headline the highly anticipated Comedy Store UG at 10 Retro Tour, organized by celebrated comedian Alex Muhangi, on October 30, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The event marks 10 years of Comedy Store Uganda and promises a blend of music, comedy, and entertainment from some of East Africa’s biggest stars.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s biggest music exports, Diamond Platnumz has built an international reputation with hit songs including Jeje, Waah!, Yatapita, Nana, and Komasava. The WCB Wasafi boss is renowned for his high-energy stage performances and is expected to be one of the main highlights of the anniversary celebration.
The event will also feature an impressive lineup of performers, including Rwanda’s The Ben, Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, and Ugandan music stars Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Karole Kasita, Fik Fameica, Gloria Bugie, Laika, An-Known, and Kabako. On the comedy side, audiences will be treated to performances from Patrick Salvado, Dr. Hilary Okello, Madrat & Chiko, Maulana & Reign, Teacher Mpamire, Bizonto, DJ Lolah, Merry Heart, Sammie & Shawa, Bobi Brown, Nilo Nilo, and the Abeeka Band.
Hosted by Kalela & Bree, the show will begin with gates opening at 2:00 PM. Tickets are priced at UGX 30,000 (regular), UGX 100,000 (early bird), UGX 200,000 (Diamond Circle), UGX 1 million (VIP), and UGX 3 million (VIP table).
