The funeral programme for popular Ugandan TikToker Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has been released as his family and friends prepare to give him his final send-off.

Jayden, 24, died in India on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, where he had travelled for specialised medical treatment following a prolonged health battle. His death was confirmed by fellow TikToker Sheila Price and later by people close to him.

His health journey had attracted widespread attention after he appealed for financial support towards a bone marrow transplant. Reports indicate that Jayden had battled sickle cell disease and later developed aplastic anaemia, a condition affecting the production of blood cells. He underwent a bone marrow transplant in India in July and was initially reported to have come out of the procedure safely.

However, his condition later deteriorated and he was reportedly admitted to the ICU in India before his death.

According to the funeral programme released by his family, a vigil will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at St. Kizito Catholic Church-Namungoona.

On Wednesday, September 23, a Requiem Mass will be held at the same church at 10:00am, before a vigil at Sala Village in Wakiso District.

The final send-off will take place on Thursday, September 24, with a Requiem Mass at Sala Village at 10:00am, followed by burial at 4:00pm.

Jayden’s body is still in India pending arrangements for its repatriation to Uganda. Media personality Kasuku recently revealed that outstanding hospital, pharmacy and transportation costs were among the issues being addressed before the body could be brought home.

Jayden became widely known for his humorous and relatable social media content, building a significant following before his health struggles became public.

His death has since sparked an outpouring of grief among fellow content creators, friends, family and followers who had followed his treatment journey and supported efforts to save his life.
