Frank Gashumba has praised Jose Chameleone, insisting that no Ugandan artist comes close to the legendary singer when it comes to musical talent, stage presence and the ability to command respect in the music industry.

According to Gashumba, Chameleone is in a league of his own, with a level of talent that has earned him admiration not only from Ugandan musicians and fans but also from established international artists.

He claimed that even Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz admires Chameleone’s musical abilities, using this as an example of the respect the Ugandan singer commands beyond the country’s borders.

“No artist comes close to Jose Chameleone,” he said.

However, Gashumba acknowledged that despite his immense talent, Chameleone has a weakness, pointing to his mood swings as the one thing that sometimes works against him.

He maintained that this does not take away from the singer’s musical abilities, insisting that when it comes to talent, Chameleone remains at the top of his list.

Chameleone, whose music career spans several decades, has built a name for himself across East Africa with numerous hit songs and collaborations, making him one of Uganda’s most recognised musical exports.
