Gloria Bugie has responded to Sheebah Karungi after the latter publicly defended Crysto Panda and condemned the personal attacks exchanged amid the ongoing feud between the two artists.

Sheebah recently called out Gloria Bugie for allegedly using Panda’s greatest losses, including the loss of a parent and child, as a weapon against him, describing such behaviour as a line that decent human beings should not cross.

In response, she addressed Sheebah respectfully, referring to her as “Madam Vice President (Federation)” and expressing her love and respect for her. However, she questioned the fairness of Sheebah’s intervention.

“I expected a fair trial from a leader but anyways, I respect your opinion and choosing to support your friend,” Gloria wrote.

The artist went on to list some of the personal attacks she claims to have endured during the feud, saying she has been called a prostitute, told that she cannot sing, body-shamed, and had her family, career and other personal matters dragged into the dispute.

She also appeared to suggest that the criticism directed at her did not take into account what she believes she has also faced from Crysto Panda and others involved in the dispute.

Despite disagreeing with Sheebah’s position, the singer said she respects her decision to stand by Crysto Panda and indicated that she would not continue the public exchange.

“No further comments about this,” she stated.

Gloria Bugie also used the opportunity to reaffirm her stance on women, describing herself as someone who respects women and is a “girls’ girl,” before ending her post with the hashtag #feminist.
