Ugandan musician Lil Pazo has opened up about his enduring bond with incarcerated socialite Charles Olim, popularly known as Sipapa, saying he will never forget the support he received from the flamboyant socialite during his early days.

Speaking about their relationship, Lil Pazo recalled how Sipapa, before his arrest, played a significant role in his journey and even helped him in difficult moments. The singer said one of the things he remembers most is Sipapa washing his cars while he was still building his life.
“I can never forget Sipapa because of where he got me from. He helped me a lot, and I will always remember that.”
Lil Pazo also revealed that he continues to visit Sipapa at Luzira Prison, despite the fact that some people who once surrounded the socialite have moved on and seemingly forgotten him.

According to the musician, he has remained personally committed to supporting his friend, including ensuring that Sipapa receives clothes while he is in prison.
“Even when others have forgotten him, I still go to Luzira to visit him. The clothes he comes with, I am the one who takes them to him.”
Sipapa has been in custody for about three years in connection with aggravated robbery and theft charges. His case has kept the once-high-profile socialite largely out of Uganda’s entertainment and nightlife scene.
