Speaking during a recent interview, Kalifah AgaNaga revealed that if he were to organize a concert, his preferred venues would be either the Serena Hotel Kampala or Lugogo Cricket Oval.

However, when asked whether Lugogo Cricket Oval might be too large for him to fill, the singer quickly dismissed the suggestion and questioned the reasoning behind it.

“If artists like Karole Kasita, Feffe Bussi, King Saha, Pallaso, and others who just started their music careers can fill up Lugogo, why not me?” he wondered.

Kalifah maintained that he is not inferior to any of the artists who have already held successful concerts at the venue. According to him, the only thing separating him from them is that they took the step before he did.

He argued that he has the fan base and influence necessary to attract large crowds and believes he would perform exceptionally well if given the opportunity to host his own concert at the cricket oval.

“The only difference between them and I is that they’ve done it first, and I haven’t,” he said.

The singer further revealed that performing at Lugogo Cricket Oval remains one of his ambitions, noting that he hopes to stage an event there in the near future.
