Musician King Michael has accused Dr. Jose Chameleone of being untrustworthy when handling money matters, claiming that disagreements over finances and recognition have affected their friendship.

Speaking in an interview with Galaxy FM, King Michael denied ever being signed under Chameleone’s Leone Island record label. He said his decision to distance himself from the Valu Valu singer was influenced by how he believes people who contribute to Chameleone’s success are treated.
Michael revealed that he connected Chameleone to concert promoter Biggie for an earlier show and claimed he also played a role in linking them for the upcoming concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
According to Michael, such contributions deserve recognition, especially when financial arrangements are being made.

“The problem with Chameleone is that he is not trustworthy, especially when it comes to money issues,” Michael said during the interview.
He alleged that Chameleone often wants the biggest share while overlooking those who helped him, adding that the absence of signed agreements can make it difficult for contributors to claim what they believe they deserve.
“Just because there is no signed agreement does not mean you forget the people who helped you along the way,” Michael argued.
The latest remarks highlight the reported tensions between the two musicians, who have previously disagreed over music and money.
Michael also had a message for veteran dancer and singer Kid Fox, who recently returned to Uganda and is seeking to revive his music career.
He advised Kid Fox against attacking musicians and industry establishments, saying he should instead find alternative ways to rebuild his career and appreciate those who have continued supporting the industry.
Meanwhile, Michael praised recent concerts, including his show at Serena Hotel, King Saha and Ray G’s concert at Kololo Airstrip, and the joint performance by Irene Namubiru and Grace Nakimera.
He also expressed excitement about Bebe Cool’s upcoming concert, saying music lovers were looking forward to the show.
