  • King Saha says he is still demanding compensation for losses linked to the cancelled Kyotera concert.
  • The singer recently confronted Haruna Kasolo publicly, reigniting debate about their long-running feud.
  • Saha insists reconciliation can only happen after justice is served and affected promoters are compensated.

Musician King Saha has opened up about his ongoing feud with Minister and Kyotera County MP Haruna Kasolo, insisting that reconciliation will only be possible after he is compensated for losses he claims resulted from the cancellation of his concert in Kyotera.

The bad blood between the two dates back to last year when King Saha accused Kasolo of frustrating preparations for a concert that had been scheduled to take place in Kyotera. Since then, the relationship between the musician and the politician has remained strained.

The tension resurfaced over the weekend during Kazibwe Kapo’s concert, where King Saha encountered Kasolo and publicly revisited their disagreement. The incident sparked widespread debate on social media, with some Ugandans criticizing the singer’s actions while others praised him for speaking openly about his grievances.

“My issue with Kasolo will only end when justice is served and those who suffered losses are compensated,” King Saha said.

According to the singer, several promoters who organized the cancelled event suffered financial setbacks and have continued to seek compensation. He revealed that some of the affected parties including himself are still being pursued by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) over obligations linked to the event despite it never taking place.

“These promoters invested heavily in that concert. If they are not compensated, I will continue standing with them and performing for them until they recover what they lost. Even myself, URA demands me Shs 67m for a concert that didn’t happen,” he added.

The “Hello” hitmaker maintained that he has accompanied the promoters to various offices in search of justice, arguing that musicians and promoters depend on each other for survival in the entertainment industry.

Opinions have been flowing across the public with some criticizing the former Leone Island singer while others supported his stance.
