- King Saha says Kololo Independence Grounds is a public venue that artists hire and pay for, not a government favor.
- The singer accused Bebe Cool of reacting emotionally and misunderstanding how such venues operate.
- Saha insists his clash with Minister Haruna Kasolo was personal and business-related, not political.
King Saha has hit back at fellow musician Bebe Cool following comments questioning the singer’s decision to stage his upcoming concert at Kololo Independence Grounds despite being a vocal critic of the government.

The disagreement stems from remarks Bebe Cool made during an interview on NRG Radio, where he argued that Saha’s August 14, 2026 concert had been authorized by the same government he frequently criticizes.
According to the Gagamel boss, some individuals often mislead the public into believing they are strongly opposed to the government, only to seek its support whenever it serves their interests.
Responding to the criticism, Saha dismissed Bebe Cool’s argument, saying the veteran musician needed to better understand how public venues operate.

“Kololo is like Kakyeka, Lugogo and other grounds where artists have held concerts before. We book and pay for these venues because they are meant to be used by citizens.”
The former Leone Island protégé stressed that Kololo Independence Grounds is not exclusively reserved for the government and that every artist who stages a show there must pay for the facility.
Saha further noted that several musicians have previously used the venue, including Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah Karungi during their highly publicized music battle, while Ray G is also set to perform there on August 7.
He suggested that if Bebe Cool receives free access to such venues, that would be his personal arrangement, but ordinary artists are required to pay.
The singer also advised Bebe Cool to avoid reacting emotionally to issues and instead seek clarification whenever necessary.
“Bebe Cool is a grown man. He should stop responding emotionally to everything. If there is something he doesn’t understand, he can call me and I will explain it to him.”
Saha also addressed Bebe Cool’s criticism regarding his recent confrontation with State Minister Haruna Kasolo during the Kazibwe Kapo Couples Concert.
While Bebe Cool described the incident as political, Saha maintained that it was purely personal and business-related. He explained that Kasolo had previously caused the cancellation of one of his shows in Kyotera, resulting in financial losses for both himself and promoters.
According to Saha, his remarks were therefore a response to that experience rather than a politically motivated attack.
