Gospel singer Levixone has weighed in on the ongoing debate about fake pastors in Uganda, saying he is not in a position to judge those involved in the controversy.

Speaking during an interview on NRG Radio, the Chikibombe singer was asked by presenter Crysto Panda to share his opinion on the matter, given his position as one of the prominent voices in Uganda’s gospel music industry and his born-again Christian faith.
The discussion follows Pastor Gashumba’s remarks challenging pastors to perform physical miracles, with a reported bounty of Shs500 million offered to any pastor who could demonstrate one.
However, Levixone appeared reluctant to take sides, explaining that he has a personal relationship with Gashumba, who has invited him to perform at his concert next month. He also noted that some pastors have welcomed his own shows, making it difficult for him to judge others.

“First and foremost, Gashumba is like a father to me because he invited me to his concert next month,” Levixone explained, adding that he did not consider himself the right person to pass judgment on the matter.
When pressed further, the singer said he believes that God still performs miracles and can use people to accomplish them. He supported his position by sharing experiences from his performances, where individuals have reportedly testified to receiving healing.
Levixone recalled an incident in which a woman claimed she had regained her hearing while he was performing. He also spoke about another show in Mbarara, where a woman reportedly testified that she had been healed of a large swelling, commonly known as a boil or lump.
The singer maintained that such testimonies are a matter of personal faith and that he would rather leave the debate to those directly involved.
“God does miracles, and He uses people to perform these miracles,” he said, reiterating his belief in divine healing.
Levixone concluded that every person would ultimately be accountable to God for their actions, urging people to concentrate on their own lives rather than rush to judge others.
According to the singer, the debate should not become an excuse for people to condemn one another, as final judgment belongs to God.
