Gospel musician Levixone has rallied behind fellow singer Gabie Ntaate following her revelation that she has faced rejection and discrimination from some members of the born-again Christian community despite dedicating her music to spreading the Gospel.

Ntaate recently opened up about how she has, for a long time, felt unwelcome among some members of the church because of her music career. Her experience has sparked conversations about acceptance and the challenges gospel artistes can face even within Christian circles.
In a message of solidarity, Levixone said he has believed in Ntaate’s talent from long before she became serious about music and made it clear that he does not count himself among her critics.
“I believed in you way before you even started taking music seriously. Among your critics, I am not there. Among your fans, I am on the front row,” Levixone said.

The singer also reminded Ntaate that rejection is not unique to her, saying artistes in different fields often face criticism and opposition as they pursue their work.
Drawing from his own experience, Levixone said his more than 17 years in music have exposed him to both positive and negative experiences, but none of them has stopped him from serving God through his craft.
“For the over 17 years I have been doing music, I have seen a lot of negative things, but that has never stopped me from singing for the Lord,” he added.
Levixone urged Ntaate not to allow criticism to weaken her faith or distract her from her purpose. Instead, he encouraged her to remain focused on God, continue doing her music and treat the negativity as background noise.
