Veteran music producer Paddy Man has showered gospel singer Judith Babirye with praise, describing her as the most naturally gifted artist he has ever worked with during his long career in Uganda’s music industry.

Having produced numerous hit songs for some of the country’s biggest musicians, Paddy Man said Babirye’s talent stands out because of how effortlessly she records music in the studio.

He revealed that while many artists require several takes before completing a song, Babirye is capable of delivering near-perfect performances in a single attempt.

“Everyone handles themselves differently but there are songs that I know when Judith Babirye entered the studio and just went to the microphone and sang one take from start to finish. There are many songs but one of them is ‘Yesu Amanyi’,” Paddy Man said.

The producer added that he intentionally avoided comparing Babirye to other musicians by name, explaining that doing so would invite unnecessary criticism from fans.

Nonetheless, he maintained that Judith Babirye remains one of the most naturally gifted artists he has ever worked with, crediting her exceptional vocal ability and effortless studio performances.
