Ugandan singer Rahmah Pinky has revealed that most of the music she recorded while signed under Team No Sleep is partly owned by her former manager Jeff Kiwa.

Speaking about her music catalog, Rahmah Pinky explained that although she performs the songs, ownership rights largely remain with TNS because the label financed the production and distribution of the projects during her time there.

“TNS owns part of my catalogue, I only have performing rights,” she said, noting that the only songs she fully controls are the ones she released after leaving the label.

The singer also weighed in on the ongoing disputes between artists and managers in the Ugandan music industry, where several musicians have publicly fought over ownership of songs and royalties.

According to Pinky, every artist’s agreement with management is different, and she can only speak from her own experience.

“As for me you won’t hear me claiming my music from him because he has been a foundation to my music career,” she said.

Pinky credited Jeff Kiwa for playing a major role in building her career, explaining that he not only invested in her music but also ensured that the songs she released under TNS reached a wider audience and became successful hits.
