Songstress Sheebah Karungi has once again fired missiles at her music nemesis, Cinderella Sanyu, popularly known as Cindy Baibe.

Through her podcast Let’s Talk About It, the Nakyuka singer revisited her long-standing beef with the self-proclaimed King Herself. According to Sheebah, there is no doubt about Cindy’s talent and vocal ability. However, she questioned why Cindy continues dragging her into comparisons despite already knowing where she stands musically.

“We all know Cindy is a beautiful singer, don’t we? She doesn’t have to prove that,” Sheebah said. “Why even prove to me of all people? She already knows she can sing better than me.”

Despite admitting Cindy’s superiority in singing, Sheebah confidently stated that there are areas where she believes Cindy cannot match her. The singer pointed at the music business, fan support, numbers and commercial success as the things that separate them.

“The business, the favor, the audience, the funds, the numbers, the hits, baby. Yeah, that she can’t beat me,” Sheebah bragged.

The Queen Karma hitmaker added that Cindy cannot compete with the grace and favor she believes God blessed her with. She explained that while Cindy may think she does not deserve the success she enjoys, her achievements speak for themselves.

“She can’t beat my favor because God gave me that. She might think I don’t deserve it, but God already gave that to me anyway,” she said.

Sheebah further downplayed the idea of an ongoing beef, insisting that she personally has no problem with Cindy. According to her, she only remains relevant in Cindy’s conversations because she has become part of her rival’s strategy to stay in the spotlight.

“The beef is not there. But I’m part of her business plan, if you know what I mean,” she added.

It should be noted that being two of Uganda’s biggest musicians, the two have battled for supremacy over the years, even culminating into a public beef in 2023. Their rivalry has also constantly been fueled by fans.
