Speaking on her podcast, Let’s Talk About It, the self-styled Queen Karma recounted how motherhood brought unexpected struggles that affected her confidence both on and off stage.
According to Sheebah, the months following childbirth were some of the hardest of her life as she struggled to trust her body again while continuing with her music career.
“Every time I stepped on stage, every time I shot a video, every time I was on an interview, every time I was recording in studio, every time I was doing something that my body used to do naturally—it would fail me.”

“I reached a point of actually questioning if I can still do that, if I can still perform, if I can still do the one thing my body has been able to do naturally for the past 36 years.”
