Shortly afterwards, Stella Nante announced her departure from Mwasuze Mutya and her final day at NTV Uganda in a statement dated September 1, 2026.
In her farewell message, the media personality thanked Nation Media Group, NTV and Spark TV for the opportunities and experiences she had gained during her two years at the media house. She described her exit as a decision she had arrived at after considerable thought about the direction she wanted her career to take.
However, Stella appeared to take issue with her former boss’ public request for feedback.
In a post shared this morning, Stella Nante seemingly directed her frustration at her former boss, writing:
“I wish that, even as you were BEGGING and PLEADING with me to stay, you had taken a moment to ask what the public thought.”
According to allegations circulating, Nante had submitted her resignation months before her eventual departure. It is claimed that Flavia subsequently asked her to remain on the show for some time as the team worked on finding a replacement.
Against that backdrop, Flavia’s recent post asking the public to review the show appears to have rubbed Nante the wrong way.
