- Zari Hassan denies chasing Dr Jose Chameleone from her 46th birthday party.
- She says security was instructed to remove three unknown guests whose dressing she considered inappropriate.
- Zari says she may release footage of the incident to clarify who was escorted out.
Socialite Zari Hassan has addressed reports that she chased singer Dr Jose Chameleone from her 46th birthday celebration after he allegedly failed to follow the event’s dress code.

Videos from the birthday party recently circulated online showing Zari directing her security team to remove some guests dressed casually, sparking speculation that Chameleone was among those asked to leave.
Several blogs subsequently reported that Zari had chased the Leone Island boss from the party. However, the South Africa-based socialite has dismissed the claims, saying they were based on a misunderstanding.
Zari explained that the people she wanted removed were three individuals she did not know and whose appearance, according to her, did not fit the standards she had set for the celebration.

“It was not Chameleone. It was three people I didn’t know who were dressed in a very disorganized manner.”
She said the guests were wearing what she described as untidy T-shirts and dirty sneakers, which irritated her and prompted her to instruct security to escort them out.
Zari also stressed that she has a longstanding friendship with Chameleone and would not deliberately humiliate him at her birthday celebration.
“Chameleone is my friend. We have been there for each other throughout the years. I had not even seen him when I gave the instruction to security.”
She accused those spreading the Chameleone version of the story of seeking online attention, saying the reports were creating unnecessary friction between people who have maintained a friendship for years.
Zari added that she would try to obtain footage showing the individuals she was referring to and release it to clarify exactly what happened at the party.
