Musician Nina Roz has opened up about how she overcame depression that followed her failed marriage to music producer and singer Daddy Andre, revealing that faith played a central role in her healing.

The sudden breakup took a heavy emotional toll on the singer, who later struggled with depression as she tried to process the public scrutiny and personal disappointment.

“It was all God’s grace. God helped me overcome that situation because He is always good,” Nina Roz said, reflecting on how she managed to rise above the depression.

When asked whether she plans to publicly show off another man or get married again, the Muliro hitmaker responded jokingly, saying she has no plans to do so. She explained that the last time she made her relationship public, the backlash was overwhelming, adding that she now prefers to keep her love life private and away from the media.

Nina Roz was appearing on the show to premiere her new love song with rapper Feffe Bussi, but she made it clear that while she loves making music, she is not currently in a romantic relationship. She said the new song is meant for lovers as February, the month of love, approaches.

The singer was also complimented on her glowing appearance, which she attributed to confidence and self-belief. Nina Roz revealed that she recently contested for the Sembabule District Woman MP seat and maintains that she won the race but was rigged out.

Despite this, she expressed gratitude to the people of Sembabule for their support, noting that she has chosen not to dwell on the past. Instead, she remains focused on moving forward and doing what she loves most—creating music for her fans.
