Singer Grace Nakimera has responded to critics who claim she does not have enough music to stage a concert at Serena Hotel, insisting that her catalogue is filled with timeless songs that have stood the test of time.

Speaking to Galaxy TV, Grace laughed off claims that she only has a handful of songs, saying some critics need to “learn how to count.”
“My catalogue is full of timeless music. It is disrespectful to ask for new music from me,” she said.
The singer argued that those insisting she has only five songs are simply uninformed, especially in an era where information is readily available online.

“They’re saying I have only five songs, yet we have Google. If you know nothing, just keep quiet,” she added.
Grace also noted that she no longer has the energy to engage in back-and-forth exchanges with critics, saying her faith has changed how she responds to negativity.
“They’re lucky I’m saved now. I don’t have time to go back and forth with them,” she remarked.
She went on to argue that some veteran musicians have already cemented their legacies through timeless music and should not be pressured to constantly release new songs.
Grace singled out Juliana Kanyomozi, Madoxx Ssematimba, Mesach Ssemakula and herself as artists whose contributions to Uganda’s music industry have earned them legendary status.
According to the singer, their music continues to resonate across generations, making the strength of their catalogues more important than the frequency of new releases.
