Dancehall singer Vyper Ranking has ruled out the possibility of battling veteran singer Kid Fox, arguing that the proposed musical showdown would be unfair because of the difference in their song catalogues.

According to Vyper Ranking, the singer behind the hit song Nimechoka does not have enough popular songs to sustain an hour-long battle. He claimed that Kid Fox has fewer than ten songs widely known by the public, while his own catalogue is large enough to keep fans entertained throughout the contest.

“Kid Fox does not have songs that can take him for an hour. The songs people know are not even more than ten,” Viper Ranking said, arguing that he has enough music for a full battle.

The dancehall singer added that his approach to music has changed, explaining that he is now more focused on making money through his craft than doing music purely for passion.

He also advised Kid Fox to concentrate on releasing music rather than relying on other musicians’ names to attract attention.

Vyper Ranking revealed that he intends to release music more aggressively as he prepares for more concerts. He noted that he has been performing at shows upcountry as he continues to build his presence on the live music scene.

Meanwhile, the Tebimala singer commented on Yung Mulo’s recent concert, which reportedly failed to attract the expected audience. He suggested that the turnout may have been the main problem, although he acknowledged the effort Young Mulo put into promoting the event.

According to him, Young Mulo should not be discouraged by the experience but should continue working hard and pushing his music.
