According to the media personality, the incident happened after his then-wife discovered an unreplied message on his phone that read, “Hi darling.”

Nimrod said he was asleep when the woman allegedly boiled water and poured it onto his back, leaving him with severe burns that took months to recover from.

He explained that the injuries forced him to wear two shirts for about two months, with one absorbing fluids from the burnt area while the other provided additional protection.

After recovering, Nimrod said he decided to leave the marriage, packing a few personal belongings and making it appear as though he was heading out for a farewell tour.

However, instead of returning home, he went to live with friends and gradually began purchasing essential items as he rebuilt his life.

He added that his former wife repeatedly called to ask whether he would return, but he made it clear that he had no intention of going back.

Despite recounting the alleged abuse, Nimrod admitted that he partly blamed himself for the problems in the marriage, saying his wife had wanted him to take responsibility and provide for their children.

He explained that he was young at the time and more focused on enjoying life than fulfilling those responsibilities.

Nimrod said the experience taught him to mature and establish boundaries in his relationships. He added that he has since made it clear to his current partners that violence against him is unacceptable.

Domestic violence remains a serious concern in relationships and marriages, with incidents involving physical, emotional and psychological abuse highlighting the importance of safety, accountability and healthy boundaries between partners.
