Veteran singer Catherine Kusasira has revealed that she is in no hurry to organize another concert, insisting that she has already performed at and filled some of Kampala’s most notable venues.

Speaking confidently about her achievements, she noted that she has successfully staged concerts at Ggaba, Sheraton Hotel, Freedom City, and Serena Hotel, achievements she believes speak for themselves.

“I have filled Ggaba, Sheraton Hotel, Freedom City, and Serena Hotel,” she said proudly.

The singer also addressed critics who often question why she has never held a concert at larger venues such as Lugogo Cricket Oval or Kololo Independence Grounds.

According to her, she understands the size of her audience and sees no reason to pursue venues that exceed her fan base.

Looking ahead, Catherine Kusasira disclosed that she will not be hosting a concert this year. Instead, she intends to throw her support behind fellow artists who are planning major shows.

Among the musicians she mentioned are Grace Nakimera, Mesach Semakula, Irene Namatovu, Mary Bata, and King Saha.

Kusasira also extended an olive branch to King Saha, saying she is willing to support his concert if invited. She suggested that previous political differences should no longer stand in the way of collaboration.

“King Saha should invite me because politics is out of the way and we no longer have opposition in Uganda,” she remarked.
