- Evelyn MiC says Alien Skin slapped her at a Galaxy FM event after she was called to meet him.
- She claims Galaxy FM management discouraged her from pursuing legal action and did not stand by her.
- She says losing the job ultimately became an eye-opening experience that prepared her for NRG Radio.
Media personality Evelyn MiC has opened up about the circumstances surrounding her controversial departure from Galaxy FM, linking the experience to her decision to pursue justice after an alleged confrontation with singer Alien Skin.

She said there had been rumours linking her to musician Pallaso intimately, who at the time was involved in a public feud with Alien Skin. According to her, the Fangone Forest boss was targeting people he believed were connected to Pallaso.
She recalled an incident at a Galaxy FM concert in Forest Park Buloba, where fellow presenter Little Joe Mpologoma reportedly called her and told her that Alien Skin wanted to see her.
Evelyn said she went there despite her fears, only to be allegedly slapped by Alien Skin without any exchange of words.

The incident was publicly reported in 2024, with Evelyn MiC saying she had reported the matter to police and sought legal action.
She now claims that Galaxy FM management discouraged her from taking the matter further because Alien Skin was extremely popular at the time.
“I knew I was going to meet him at different concerts because he was heavily booked, and I was also an MC.”
Additionally, she said her colleagues witnessed what happened and saw her crying, but she felt Galaxy FM did not stand firmly behind her after she chose to pursue the case.
She says her eventual dismissal came around Christmas and was communicated to her over the phone, at a particularly difficult period following the death of her grandmother, whom she described as being like both a father and mother to her.
Interestingly, she now says she sees the experience differently.
“That night opened my eyes. When I went to NRG, I already knew the game.”
At NRG Radio, the presenter says she understands that disciplinary issues such as lateness or failure to report to work can cost someone their job, but she does not believe employees should be punished over personal conflicts.
She also took aim at Sheilah Gashumba, advising her to stop bullying people and insisting that she is not prepared to back down from their ongoing clash.
