Ugandan singer Karole Kasita has revealed that she plans to retire from active music when the right time comes, explaining that she doesn’t want to grow old struggling to maintain the energetic performances her fans know her for.

While appearing on NRG Radio, Karole shared that her style of music requires high energy and strong stage performances, something she feels she may not be able to sustain forever.
“I don’t want to be old and still struggling to perform. Given my style of music I have to be energetic and give my fans a performance because I can’t give them less,” she said.
The singer clarified that retirement wouldn’t mean abandoning music completely, but rather stepping away from active performing.

She made the remarks after being asked about veteran dancehall stars like Spice, who continues to perform energetically even in her late 40s and recently held a successful concert in Uganda.
Karole also opened up about the kind of life she hopes to live after music, saying she sees herself becoming a successful businesswoman, a mother, and “someone’s woman” — but not necessarily a wife.
“I would become a very good business woman, a mother and probably someone’s woman but not a wife,” she explained.
According to her, marriage comes with many expectations, responsibilities, and titles that she fears may become overwhelming.
She however noted that she still dreams of having a bigger family in the future and giving her son King more siblings.
“God willing, I would want to have more kids and give King siblings. A beautiful family will be created,” she added.
