“This person even tried posting fake nude pictures of me on the internet to sabotage my career,” Lynda revealed.
She explained that the images were not hers but had been taken from internet sources and manipulated to resemble her. While she now knows who was behind the attacks, she chose not to publicly identify the person and has since decided to move on from the matter.
The ordeal took a significant emotional and financial toll on her. Beyond the distress of having her accounts compromised, Lynda said the hacking affected a key source of income, as she was actively involved in nightlife hosting and relied on her social media platforms for work opportunities and promotion.
“The person who helped me get my personal accounts back asked me for over Shs4 million and I had to pay it because I needed them back,” she explained.
The media personality described the period as extremely stressful, noting that the attacks extended beyond her personal accounts and affected work-related platforms linked to KFM.
Although she still wanted to remain at the station, the experience left a lasting impact and influenced her decision to walk away.
Lynda also used her story to caution fans about the dangers of obsessive behavior, urging people to recognize that not everyone handles rejection maturely.
She warned that some individuals can become vindictive when their advances are turned down, emphasizing the importance of protecting oneself both online and offline.
