Rising Ugandan singer Mimi Kampala has revealed that she is currently single and not actively looking for a relationship because she still considers herself too young for that stage of life.

Speaking during an appearance on Galaxy FM, Mimi explained that relationships are not part of her priorities at the moment and she would rather focus on herself until the time feels right.
“I’m so young and personally, I’m not ready for relationships but when I am, I’ll let the public know who I’m dating,” she said.
The singer however disclosed that she once had a boyfriend back in high school, although she doesn’t really count it as a serious relationship because of how young they both were at the time.

According to her, the relationship was driven more by teenage excitement and curiosity than genuine commitment.
“I dated only one guy back in high school and that also didn’t last because it was in hiding,” she shared.
Mimi added that students were not allowed to date openly at school, forcing them to keep everything secretive. Because of that, the relationship barely survived and only lasted four days before ending.
