Veteran singer Iryn Namubiru has reflected on how much Uganda’s music industry has evolved, saying today’s artists enjoy better branding, improved earnings, and modern technology. However, she noted that unlike in her era, talent alone is no longer enough to guarantee success.

Irene Ntale has officially distanced herself from political involvement, saying she wants to focus on her music career. The singer explained that although she once appeared in Bobi Wine’s Tuliyambala Engule, she never intended to take on a political role.
