Serendipity Street Party is set to return on September 13, 2026, with a vibrant new edition dubbed ‘Summer Splash’ at Guvnor Streetside. The event will transform the venue into a Caribbean-inspired party destination, bringing island energy, music and culture to the heart of Kampala.

The ‘Summer Splash’ edition will celebrate Dancehall and Jamaican culture, highlighting the influence of Caribbean sounds on Uganda’s contemporary nightlife. Organisers say the event will also serve as a major summer closing celebration for members of the Ugandan diaspora and visitors in the country.
Serendipity Street Party has established itself as one of Kampala’s standout nightlife experiences, with previous editions featuring pan-African acts such as Mike Kayihura, Kivumbi, Bruce Melodie and South African DJ Leehleza, alongside leading Ugandan performers and DJs. The September edition follows the success of April’s ‘Let’s Go Vegas’ party, which attracted significant attention from Kampala’s nightlife crowd.
Organisers have already released a teaser poster featuring the mysterious silhouette of the event’s upcoming headline act. The identity of the main performer remains under wraps as organisers build anticipation ahead of the announcement. A lineup of top Ugandan DJs is also expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
