• Mamideb says her new show is built on purpose, legacy and meaningful impact.
• The program will address depression, money management, relationships and social pressures.
• She insists faith, motherhood and hard work remain central to her identity and brand.

Socialite and entrepreneur Mrs. Deborah Nantongo Cleave, popularly known as Mamideb, has opened up about her vision for intentional content, personal values and the inspiration behind her upcoming show.

Speaking during an interview with Mr. Henrie on NRG Radio, Mamideb dismissed fears that her latest venture could be short-lived, insisting that her intentions are rooted in legacy and meaningful impact.

According to her, she is no longer interested in projects done merely for entertainment or publicity.

“Everything in my life is so intentional. I’m doing this because I want a legacy that my children will look back and be proud of. I want to make a difference,” she said.

Mamideb explained that the show will move away from drama-driven content and instead tackle life issues that many Ugandans silently struggle with.

She revealed that discussions will range from skincare and financial literacy to mental health, relationships and social pressures.

According to her, society has failed to openly address issues such as depression, breakups, marriage pressure and the unrealistic standards created by social media.

“A lot of women go through depression but not enough people talk about it. Even men go through these things and the world is changing fast,” she noted.

The entrepreneur said her own mistakes with money and life experiences inspired her to create content that educates rather than merely entertains.

It should be noted that Mamideb’s comments come after her previous reality show appearances attracted controversy and public debate.

However, she maintained that her new direction reflects her true identity and values.

“I’m a Seventh-day Adventist woman who takes her relationship with God very seriously. I put God first above everything,” she stated.

Mamideb also defended her strong work ethic, saying she does not believe women should wait to be rescued financially.

“Someone will save you when they see how hard you fight to save yourself,” she said.

Her new show Let’s Talk with Mami Deb, is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Theatre LaBonita Wednesday at with tickets priced at Shs10,000.
